Featured in the museum are over 200 artifacts from the early 1700's. Located in the museum are the famous revolvers of Mr. Colt. The collection has remained in one family and is considered to be the oldest known family collection. The artifacts help depict Gettysburgs' history.

Award-winning museum dedicated to the "civilian experience" during the Battle of Gettysburg. Built in 1860, the restored home of George W. Schriver provides an authentic setting to experience first hand what one family experienced during and after the battle. Thirty-minute guided tours are available and include the Confederate sharpshooters nest in the garret.

The museum is housed in the former home of General Robert E. Lee during the battle of Gettysburg. Inside the museum are artifacts and stories from the famous Gettysburg battle. The house was built in 1834 and is one of the oldest museums in Gettysburg. The museum began displaying its collection in 1922.
